Sponsored by [@GiveWP.](https://twitter.com/GiveWP)

During [WordCamp Udaipur](https://2018.udaipur.wordcamp.org/2018/01/24/panel-discussion-gutenberg-the-new-wordpress/) WordPress enthusiasts listened to a panel discussion.

## New Plugins – #280blocks

*During [State of the Word](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XOY3ZUO6P0k), Matt Mullenweg referenced the newly increased character limit for Twitter to 280 and said, maybe we need 280 blocks.*

Answering the question on Twitter "Have you thought about accessiblity" Travis Lopes posted via @gravityforms

> "The majority of the block utilizes components from Gutenberg itself, so it's inheriting whatever accessibility is present there. Are there any specific areas you feel need improvement?"

Andrew Taylor showed-off his new Google Maps block during Pantheon's Webinar: "First Impressions developing for Gutenberg" on January 19. [A recording is available here](http://bit.ly/2C6eBky) (after you leave your name and email address). Now the plugin made it into the WordPress Plugins repository.

### Can I still write with the Text editor and create a post in HTML?

Timothy Unkert walks his viewers through using Gutenberg to write a post on  MathStuff4U, switching between visual editor and HTML Edit moduls.  [This is the final post](http://www.mathstuff4u.com/lhopitals-rule/)

Tim also posted an introduction to Gutenberg on his own site.
